The disclosure relates to a method for the synthesis of compounds having formula (I), wherein R represents a hydrogen atom or an amino function protecting group. The disclosure also relates to the use of the compounds formula (I) for synthesizing perindopril and the pharmaceutically-acceptable salts thereof.
