Disclosed are pyrazine functionalised peptide derivatives of formula I: wherein: Ar is a five to ten membered aromatic ring having up to 4 heteroatoms selected from O, S, N(H), SO, and SO2; W is -C(=O)C(=O)-R6, or -C(=O)C(=O)-N(R6)2; T is an optionally substituted pyrazine moiety, and the other substituents are defined herein. Also disclosed is the use of a compound as defined above for the manufacture of a medicament for inhibiting the activity of a serine protease such as an HCV NS3 protease.
