PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical apparatus for dental use, which performs self repair when an abnormality is detected on the side of a unit which is arranged on the proximal end side of a handpiece so as to supply water, air, and power, etc. SOLUTION: A laser apparatus 100 includes: a constant voltage circuit 122 for detecting the voltage value of a voltage output terminal in a power source circuit 120 in order to monitor the abnormality in the voltage to be outputted from the power source circuit 120 for supplying power to the respective electric circuits of the apparatus; a self diagnosis board 150 for determining whether or not the detected voltage value is within a normal range which is regulated by the specification of the power source circuit 120; a self repair circuit 123 for adjusting the voltage of the voltage output terminal so as to allow the voltage value of the voltage output terminal to be within the normal range when the detected voltage value is not within the normal range; and a transmission circuit 150 for transmitting an abnormal part and a use environment, etc., to a customer service center 910 or a customer service engineer 921 through the use of a communication network NW.
