MICOALGAL SPECIES HAVING HIGH UPTAKE RATE OF CARBON DIOXIDE AND USE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A microalgae with CO2 removal activity is provided to enhance CO2 removal activity and photosynthesis rate and use as a bio material such as food and cosmetic product. CONSTITUTION: A Scenedesumus producto-capitatus(deposit number KCTC 11336BP) stain has high CO2 fixation rate and photosynthesis rate. The CO2 fixation rate is 1.1~2.0 mmol/L/hr and photosynthesis rate is 0.6~9.0. A microbial agent for reducing CO2 contains the Scenedesumus producto-capitatus strain, culture medium of the strain, and homogenized liquid of the stain.
