PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant polypropylene resin composition having excellent drip preventing properties, appearance or the like upon burning even if a PTFE is not added and having excellent flame retardancy with a small compounding amount of flame retardant. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant polypropylene resin composition contains 10 to 50 pts.wt. non-halogen-based flame retardant (C) to 100 pts.wt. polypropylene resin component including 60 to 99 wt.% crystalline polypropylene resin (A) having 0.1 to 80 g/10 min MFR and isotactic triad fraction (mm) of 0.95 or more and 1 to 40 wt.% propylene-based polymer (B) comprising an insoluble component (I) and a soluble component (S) in p-xylene at 25°C and having (i) a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) measured by GPC of 100,000 to 1,000,000, (ii)≤0.3 wt.% insoluble component in heat p-xylene, and (iii) a degree (γmax) of strain hardening measured by elongational viscosity of 1.1 or more.
