<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation switch and electronic equipment capable of securing a stable contact structure by avoiding a number of fixed contacts from being concentrated on a flat region, even in a contact structure with that many number of fixed contacts necessary for enabling a plurality of switch structures on a limited and narrow flat region of a rotating operation body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Fixed contacts for an encoder among a many number of fixed contacts fitted on a printed wiring board, are taken out from the printed wiring board to provide a movable contact board for an encoder, conductive pieces corresponding in contact are made to correspond in bifurcation for both a contactor in contact with a fixed contact equipped on the printed wiring board and a contactor in contact with a fixed contact of a movable contact board for an encoder to structure an operation switch.
