PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant sandwich panel which includes excellent characteristics such as sufficient heat resistance, lightweight, high strength, heat insulating properties and moldability, especially the ability to maintain high strength even under high temperature circumstances. SOLUTION: This heat-resistant sandwich panel is composed of a polyimide composite material where an expanded polyimide 11 as a core is sandwiched between long fiber-reinforced addition polyimide sheets 10 and 10 and is integrally molded with them. The heat-resistant sandwich panel is obtained by: arranging the long fiber-reinforced addition polyimide sheet precursor, composed of a long fiber sheet impregnated with an addition polyimide precursor, on both sides of the expanded polyimide; adhering the long fiber-reinforced addition polyimide sheet precursor to the expanded polyimide; and heating the sheet precursor at a temperature of≥300°C while pressurizing so that the long fiber-reinforced addition polyimide sheet precursor is cured and thereby, is integrated with the expanded polyimide.
