<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for enhancing growth of healthy seedlings of rice plants that exhibits growing effects of healthy seedlings of rice plants such as enhancement of tiller, increase in the weight of roots, deepening of green color, thickening of stems, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The agent for enhancing growth of healthy seedlings of rice plants comprises 5-aminolevulinic acid represented by general formula (1): R<SP>2</SP>R<SP>1</SP>NCH<SB>2</SB>COCH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>COR<SP>3</SP>[wherein R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each independently a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, acyl group, alkoxycarbonyl group, aryl group or aralkyl group; and R<SP>3</SP>is a hydroxy group, alkoxy group, acyloxy group, alkoxycarbonyloxy group, aryloxy group, aralkyloxy group or amino group], its derivative or a salt thereof and a gibberellin biosynthesis inhibitor as effective ingredients. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
