METHOD FOR EVALUATION OF FUNCTION OF PHAGOCYTE

Disclosed is a novel and convenient method for evaluating the function of a phagocyte by measuring sCD14-ST that is a humoral factor produced specifically through the phagocytosis by the phagocyte and is stable at a level suitable for the measurement.  Also disclosed is a method for detecting a disease associated with the phagocytosis by a phagocyte.
