<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for the output signals of an oscillation circuit for synchronizing the phase of reference signals, when the operation of the phase comparator circuit of a phase synchronization circuit is stopped and then is restarted. <P>SOLUTION: The phase synchronization circuit includes: the phase comparator circuit which outputs signals, indicating the phase difference between inputted reference signals and comparison signals; an integration circuit which includes a first capacitor and integrates the output signals of the phase comparator circuit; an oscillation circuit which outputs signals, having a frequency corresponding to the voltage value of the output signals of the integration circuit; a frequency divider circuit which frequency-divides the output signals of the oscillation circuit and inputs them to the phase comparator circuit as the comparison signals; and the serial circuit of a switching circuit and a second capacitor, connected in parallel with the first capacitor. The switch circuit is turned on after the operation of the phase comparator circuit is stopped and is turned off, after the operation of the phase comparator circuit is restarted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
