<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of exhibiting favorable air keeping performance by preventing the occurrence of creases in a film of an inner liner layer in using the film formed of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition for the inner liner layer. <P>SOLUTION: In this pneumatic tire, a carcass layer 4 is stretched between a pair of bead sections 3, 3, a bead core 5 is buried in these bead sections 3 respectively, and a rim cushion rubber layer 8 is arranged at a region of each bead section 3 contacted with a rim. The inner liner layer 10 formed of the film of the thermoplastic resin or the thermoplastic elastomer composition obtained by blending elastomer in the thermoplastic resin is formed along the carcass layer 4. The end of the inner liner layer 10 is arranged on the tire inner surface side relative to the carcass layer 4 and on the outside to the center of gravity position G of the bead core 5 in a tire radial direction.
