<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing of a compound heat exchanger can prevent poor brazing caused by deformation of a tank with a simple method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing of the compound heat exchanger by receiving a first heat exchanger in a tank 3 of a second heat exchanger while temporarily fixing peripheries of connection pipes P1, P2 disposed on both longitudinal end sections of the first heat exchanger (oil cooler) to a wall section 3b of the tank 3 of the second heat exchanger (oil cooler incorporated radiator 1), and brazing and fixing both heat exchangers by heat treatment, further includes a process for forming an inclined section 22 continuously inclined to an inner side of the tank 3 toward the center 21 in the longitudinal direction between both connection pipes P1, P2, and a process for plastically deforming the inclined section 22 to a height same as a general face 23 of the wall section 3b of the tank 3 by thermal stress in the heat treatment.
