PURPOSE: A method for preparing water for producing tea using deep ocean water is provided to prepare water for producing tea hygienically from deep ocean water. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing water for producing tea using deep ocean water comprises the following steps of: collecting deep ocean water from 200m or less below a sea level; raising the temperature to 20~30°C; pre-processing with one selected from sand filtration, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, and nanofiltration; primarily desalting the pre-processed deep ocean water with one selected from reverse-osmosis filter, electrodialysis, electro extraction, and freezing; alkalizing the deep ocean water; secondarily desalting the deep ocean water in order to produce filtered water from which boron compounds are removed; adjusting the pH to 5.8-8.5, and supplying the pH-adjusted water to a constant voltage conductive apparatus; applying 0.5-10V power to the water to modify the water; and using the water when making tea.
