<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming unit that prevents the occurrence of stuck body or agglomerate of toner and has satisfactory fixability even in initial image formation, and to provide an image forming apparatus with the image forming unit. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming unit includes: a developer storage section for storing developer; and a developer supply section having at least a developer carrier which rotates, thereby supplying developer, stored in the developer storage section, to an electrostatic latent image formed on the surface of an image carrier. The glass transition temperature of first developer pre-stored in a developer supply section is higher than that of second developer stored in the developer storage section.
