<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic control structure which can exhibit an excellent seismic control effect to an earthquake and wind pressure in a bearing wall made by extending a face member on a structural axis member consisting of vertical axis members, such as a column, a stud, and the like, and horizontal axis members, such as a beam, a sill, and the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Rod-like receiving members 6, 6 extending between the upper and lower ends of the face member 2 extended on the structural axis member 1 are fixed on both sides of the face member 2. A seismic control device consisting of a viscoelastic damper 3A and a friction damper 3C having no directionality in a seismic control effect connects between the insides of the upper and lower ends of the receiving member 6 and the insides of the upper and lower ends of the structural axis member 1 to exhibit a seismic control effect to vertical and horizontal oscillation. A seismic control device consisting of an oil damper 3B and a steel damper 3D and having directionality connects between the lengthwise middle of the receiving member 6 and the opposite inside of the structural axis member 1 to absorb vertical seismic energy.
