PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening frame mounting structure which enables the easy and smooth replacement of an opening frame without having a great influence on an exterior wall finishing material etc. mounted on the periphery of the opening frame. SOLUTION: A fixing protrusion 16, which is protruded inward from an inner peripheral surface 15a of the opening, along the inner peripheral surface 15a of the opening of a square bar 15 for the installation of the opening frame, is mounted throughout the perimeter of the inner peripheral surface 15a; and a waterproof sheet material 18 is mounted along the following surfaces in such a manner as to have a continuous cross-sectional shape along the inner peripheral surface 15a and an outer peripheral surface of the fixing protrusion 16 from an end surface 17a of an exterior wall substrate material 17 installed on the outdoor side of the square bar 15. Additionally, a sash frame 13 is mounted without outward protrusion from an exterior wall finished surface 11a by joining and fixing a mounting flange piece 14 to an indoor-side lateral surface 16c of the fixing protrusion 16, while sandwiching an end portion of the waterproof sheet material 18 which is provided by being elongated to the indoor-side lateral surface 16c of the fixing protrusion 16.
