<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a conventional extension cord always consumes electricity as far as a plug is inserted into a socket for indoor wiring because electricity flows from the plug to the socket. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Power saving is carried out by controlling current conduction of the cord since electricity flowing in an extension cord is turned on or off by a switch connected with a magnet type switch using a magnet such as a relay and a magnet switch through a different circuit wire thinner than the extension cord and mounted on the socket while the magnet type switch using a magnet such as the relay and the magnet switch is mounted on the plug.
