<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the front faces of the lenses of spectacles, and also to fold the spectacles thinly. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Bearing parts are provided at an intermediate part or bridge part 16 of the spectacles. One end of each of a pair of front arms 20 and 22 is formed so as to be fitted in the corresponding bearing part as a rotation shaft 26, 27 perpendicular to a lens frame 40, 41 or the bridge. The front arms extend substantially parallel toward the long axes of the lens frames. The front arms have temples 30 and 31 at the other ends. The front arms having the respective temples are rotated substantially 180° inside within the same flat plane on the equator.
