<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive guidance device and drive guidance method for achieving appropriate steering timing report considering the individual difference of a driver during road travelling. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle state detector 111, an imaging device 112, a face direction detector 113, and a head/body yaw time difference arithmetic section 114 detect driver's head behavior and vehicle's behavior, and calculate the time difference between them. A navigation device 115 detects the curvature of a corner and the vehicle position with respect to the corner. A driving timing arithmetic section 117 calculates an ideal steering start position to start the steering. The timing of starting the steering is reported to the driver via a seat 118 for boarding according to the time difference between the driver's head behavior and vehicle's behavior and the ideal steering start position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
