<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle cover of simple structure improved in fitting work efficiency thereof and capable of sure fitting and remarkable cost reduction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This spindle cover 1 for covering a spindle 102, which is protruded from the center of an operation handle 101 of a valve or various operation apparatus freely to appear/disappear, for protection has a cylindrical cover body 2 provided outside the spindle 102 to cover the spindle 102. The cover body 2 is closed at one end thereof, and provided with a spindle fitting portion 4 at the other end thereof. The spindle fitting portion 4 has a plurality of lock pieces 7 arranged in the circumferential direction to be elastically engaged with a screw groove of the spindle 102.
