<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice hulling and sorting apparatus capable of surely and correctly performing the initial control of a hulling roll, and enhancing a work efficiency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A returning part 7 includes a drive motor M2 independently driving the returning part 7, and the motor 2 is interlocked with a hulling roll gap control means. The hulling roll gap control means stops the drive of the returning part 7 at the initial control starting time of a hulling roll 11c, and drives the returning part 7 at the initial control finishing time of the hulling roll 11c.
