The technical problem is that the correct decision about the positional relation between the cameras and the effective use thereof tend to be difficult. The solution of the technical problem through this invention is an electronic camera system designed to include a plurality of cameras, and a camera platform connected with the cameras for panning and tilting the cameras. The cameras can be operated while being linked with each other. The cameras may include at least one zoom camera. At least one of the cameras may be controlled mechanically, optically, or electrically independent of the other camera or cameras.</p>
