PURPOSE: A virtual system and a method for restricting usage of contents in the virtual system are provided to limit the use of contents in a virtual machine which is implemented in an illegal device. CONSTITUTION: A first and second virtual machines(230,240) comprises an operating system and a control unit. The control unit selectively limits the use of the contents executed at the operating system. The virtual machine management unit reads out a first device identifier for distinguishing a device from devices. The virtual machine management unit reads out the second device identifier. The virtual machine management unit compares the match of the first device identifier and the second device identifier. The virtual machine management unit selectively limits the content use based on the comparison result.
