CHINESE INPUT SYSTEM AND METHOD

PURPOSE: A Chinese input system and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to conveniently input a Chinese character through a simple operation by efficiently allocating vowels and final consonants. CONSTITUTION: A first search engine(104) searches for syllabic sounds in a Chinese word DB according to the input method of a vowel input keyboard and final consonant input keyboard. The searched results are stored at a primary search result DB. A selection input unit displays the searched results of the first search engine. The selection input unit inputs the displayed characters that are desirable results. If the secondary search is inputted, the secondary search engine(116) of the selection input unit searches the primary search result DB according to the input condition.
