PURPOSE: A connection socket for branch of pipes is provided to ensure complete watertight joint by expanding out a rubber packing effectively. CONSTITUTION: A connection socket for branch of pipes, which connects a branch pipe(106) to a main pipe(102), comprises a rubber packing(110), a branch body(120), and a fixing member(130). The rubber packing is inserted in a branch hole(104) of the main pipe. The top end of the rubber packing is inserted to the branch body. The fixing member is press-fitted in the rubber packing so that the rubber packing is expanded out and pressed onto the branch hole. The rubber packing has an internal tapered surface(114) to form a wide top and a narrow bottom.
