<p>A technology is disclosed that improves the communication throughput, while maintaining a compatibility with a radio communication system or method utilizing a carrier sense for the conventional multiple access method. According to the technology, a radio communication terminal accommodating apparatus decides a sequence of assigning, to a plurality of radio communication terminals, a communication right for occupying a radio transmission medium, and transmits, to the plurality of radio communication terminals, a multi- polling signal (311) including information related to the sequence at any desired transmission timings acquired by the carrier sense. In this way, each of the plurality of radio communication terminals is assigned a period of the communication right for occupying the radio transmission medium (communication right periods 312-314). Additionally, a sufficiently short time interval as compared with the guard time of the conventional system (carrier sense time) is employed as the time interval between adjacent communication right periods.</p> |
