PURPOSE: A brightness enhancing film is provided to enhance the effect of brightness enhancement without a plurality of layers by comprising a sea island cotton yarn which has birefringence inside a base material. CONSTITUTION: A brightness enhancing film includes a sea island cotton yarn(210) having birefringence inside a base material. The base material includes a thermoplastic and thermosetting polymer which passes an optical wavelength of a target range. The base material is made of one or more of poly ethylene naphthalate(PEN), copolymer ethylenenaphthalate(co-PEN), polyethylene terephthalate(PET), polycarbonate(PC), polycarbonate(PC) alloy, polystyrene(PS), heat-proof polystyrene(PS), polymethylmethacrylate(PMMA), PBT, polypropylene(PP), polyethylene(PE), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene(ABS), polyurethanes(PU), polyimide(PI), polyvinylchloride(PVC), styrene acrylonitrile mixing(SAN), ethylene-vinyl acetate(EVA), polyamide(PA), polyacetal(POM), phenol, epoxy(EP), melanin(MF), unsaturation poly ester(UP), silicon(SI), elastomer and cyclo olefin polymer.
