PIER FOOTING REINFORCEMENT WORK

PURPOSE: A pier foundation reinforcing method using a sheet pile is provided to prevent delamination of concrete after reinforcement of a pier foundation. CONSTITUTION: A pier foundation reinforcing method using a sheet pile is as follows. A barge(12) with heavy equipment(14) is floated surrounding a pier foundation, and guide piles are piled by the heavy equipment of the barge. A sheet pile(18) is piled between the guide piles, and the water inside the sheet file is pumped out. An excavation(24) of a predetermined depth is formed in the sheet pile by a clam shell. Concrete(26) is applied in the excavation, and the sheet pile is pulled out. A sour protection structure(30) is constructed in the pier foundation(10).
