The lock has a case (10) carrying a control piece formed by a control cylinder (11), a pinion (12) and a lower vertical plate (22). The control piece controls an operating unit that operates a set of bolt devices (60) with offset bolts (65). The operating unit has a monostrand or multistrand cable (50) movably mounted in a sheath (57) under the action of the control piece, where the sheath is associated to guiding tabs (2, 3). The tabs occupy a fixed position with respect to the case and maintain upstream and downstream end segments (58, 59) of the sheath.
