<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case for display device and a display device equipped with the same, which can be made thin while having excellent rigidity, by mounting a circuit substrate for performing control to make a display device display an image. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the display device 100, a chassis main body 211 fabricated in an approximately plane shape, which includes a reflective face 211A which approximately faces a plane of an opposing side of a display area of a liquid crystal display (LCD) 300, and which includes a plurality of first hollow ribs 214A in line along an extrusion direction by profile extrusion of a resin material, is provided. A substrate storage space for storing a circuit substrate 410 is formed in partition, by the reflective face 211A of the chassis main body 211, and a dressing face 211B of an opposite side, the reflective face 211A and the hollow rib 214A.
