PURPOSE: A method for helping cardiopulmonary resuscitation using audio visual signal is provided to easily control the frequency and time ofventilation signal. CONSTITUTION: A method for helping cardiopulmonary resuscitation using audio visual signal comprises a step of distinguishing an auxiliary cardiopulmonary resuscitation mode based on the external key input signal and a step of selectively controlling the generation of ventilation auxiliary signal and chest pressure auxiliary signal. An auxiliary device for cardiopulmonary resuscitation comprises a key input part(10), operation processing unit(20) and a memory(40).
