PURPOSE: A fermented gruel and a preparation method thereof are provided using loess, brown rice, and milk to prepare a fermented brown rice and milk gruel. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a fermented gruel comprises the following steps of: mixing brown rice and loess, raising the temperature up to 60°C, and allowing far infrared rays emitted from the loess to activate various enzymes of the brown rice; fermenting the brown rice with the loess; putting lactobacillus into the fermented brown rice and fermenting at 35~40°C; and re-fermenting it at the temperature of 15~30°C.
