PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create an image file containing data on a plurality of images. SOLUTION: When a camera 100 is set to a photography mode for creating one integrated image file by combining data in a plurality of image files, a CPU 201e mutually associates each of a plurality of acquired image files as a set of individual image files by recording them in the same subdirectory, creates one file of a plurality of images by combining data in the plurality of individual image files in the subdirectory in response to directions of a user, and records the created file of the plurality of images on a memory card.
