<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel control device of a diesel engine capable of considering the amount of non-combusted air in EGR gas and achieving a balance between exhaust gas performance and engine response at the time of applying EGR by easy control. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel control device of a diesel engine having an EGR device for recirculating a part of exhaust gas of the engine as the EGR gas to an intake system is characterized by comprising an estimated excess air ratio calculation means 47 for calculating estimated excess air ratio in a cylinder by using a fuel injection amount injected to the cylinder 3 by a fuel injection valve 31, an intake air amount, and a non-combusted air amount in the EGR gas recirculated to the intake system, and fuel control means 33, 51 for controlling the fuel injection amount at the time of sudden acceleration based on the estimated excess air ratio calculated by the estimated excess air ratio calculation means 47. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
