PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronizing device for a transmission capable of preventing a re-synchronization phenomenon while also positively securing an inclination angle of an inversely tapered surface without elongating an axial length of the synchronizing device in regard to a synchronizing device for a transmission. SOLUTION: A synchronized chamfer 11 of a synchronizer ring 7 is formed to largely project to a radial outer circumference side, and its outermost end 11A is set in a position substantially matching a parallel guide face 9e (refer to a broken line) of a sleeve spline 9 in the radial direction.
