The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for determining the rotor temperature of an electric motor of a hybrid vehicle. In a method for determining the rotor temperature (Trot) of an electric motor (7) of a hybrid vehicle, wherein a reliable determination of the rotor temperature is possible utilizing simple means, the rotor temperature (Trot) of the electric motor (7) is determined by means of a measurement of an operating parameter of the electric motor (7) during the operation of the hybrid vehicle.
