<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a transfer defect which may occur due to an influence of a conveyance force applying member such as a register roller pair arranged at an upstream side in a transfer paper conveyance direction of a transfer nip. <P>SOLUTION: After a tip of the transfer paper enters the inside of a first transfer nip formed between a photoreceptor 1B and a transfer paper conveyance belt 8 and before a rear end of the transfer paper passes a register position by the register roller pair 24, respective rollers of the register roller pair are separated in a released state and the released state is maintained at least till the transfer paper passes the register position. After the register roller pair is brought into in the released state until the rear end of the transfer paper passes through the first transfer nip, the conveyance force is not applied to the transfer paper at the upstream side in a transfer paper conveyance direction of the register roller pair. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
