<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tree-shaped broadcasting system capable of avoiding chain-reaction sending out of packet complement requests caused by propagation of packet loss events in the direction of a low hierarchy, preventing excessive traffic to a network and avoiding intensive packet complement requests to a specific node device, and to provide a packet transmission method, a node device and a node processing program. <P>SOLUTION: A lost packet is detected among a plurality of packets broadcast from a broadcasting apparatus. Packet complement request information indicative of a packet complement request for complementing the lost packet is transmitted to a high hierarchical apparatus. As for transmission of the packet complement request information, a dummy packet for retention for a predetermined standby time is transmitted to a node device connected to a low hierarchy of the own node device, in place of the lost packet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
