<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support of a staircase, which can prevent the torsion of an inclined beam for supporting a treadboard by a cantilever, which can suppress an occupied space, and which enables the inclined beam to be concealed with a wall. <P>SOLUTION: This support comprises the inclined beam 11 which has the treadboard 41 protruded from a side surface, and a column 21 which is arranged in such a manner as to cross an intermediate portion of the inclined beam 11. In the support, either the column 21 or the inclined beam 11 is divided into two portions in the crossing portion of the inclined beam 11 and the column 21; the inclined beam 11 and the column 21, which constitute the crossing portion, are integrated together by a hollow shaft 31, an engaging shaft 32 and a fastening bolt 33. The hollow shaft 31 and the engaging shaft 32, which are made of a metal and which have a spiral protrusive streak 34 formed on a lateral peripheral surface, are firmly integrated with the inclined beam 11 and the column 21; the inclined beam 11 and the column 21 are also firmly integrated together; and the torsion of the intermediate portion of the inclined beam 11 can be prevented. In addition, the columns 21 are arranged in the upper and lower inclined planes 12 and 13 of the inclined beam 11; the occupied space can be reduced; and the inclined beam 11 is easily concealed by mounting a wall panel 43 on the column 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
