摘要 An LCD device and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce acoustic noise by equalizing the frequency of a common voltage and the frequency of a frame. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes plural pixels, a switch unit(130), and a gate line driver(120). The pixels having liquid crystal capacitors(CLC) including pixel and common electrodes are disposed at cross sections of gate and source lines. The switch unit supplies source line driving voltages, which have an opposite level to the common voltage supplied to the common electrodes, to the source lines. The gate line driver sequentially outputs gate line driving signals, which are used for controlling the supplement of the source line driving voltages to the pixel electrode, through the gate lines. The common voltages are transferred between first and second levels at a boundary of first and second half frames included in the frame. The switch unit supplies the source line driving voltages to odd and even source lines during the first and second half frames, respectively.
