A multimedia service supply method of a mobile communication terminal are provided to download contents by converting into a streaming way if the contents cannot be downloaded in a progressive way, by considering memory restrictions and the remaining memory state of the terminal. Contents to be downloaded are selected(S510,S520). If the remaining capacity of a memory of a mobile communication terminal is smaller than a preset minimum memory capacity of the terminal, the contents are downloaded in a streaming way(S530-S580). If not, the contents are downloaded in a progressive way(S530-S570). If the remaining capacity of the memory is smaller than the preset minimum memory capacity, deficiency in a memory capacity of the terminal is notified.
