<p>A control handle assembly for a plumbing fitting has a first control member having a bore (82) and a ledge (88) within the bore extending radially inward to' an inner dimension, and a second control member having a mounting post (80) with a ledge (90) extending radially outward to an outer dimension. A deformable clip (92) is captured by the control members between the ledges and has a radial outer dimension greater than the inner and outer dimensions of the ledges so as to rotatably couple the control members. A spout coupling assembly has a "lower adaptor (110) defining a lower passageway (12) for housing a diverter (108) and an upper adaptor (126) coupled to the lower adaptor (110) defining an upper passageway (134). An annular recess (144) is formed in the upper adaptor (126) and a collar (146) is axially restrained in the annular recess. A spout (30) is coupled to the collar so that the spout and collar rotate simultaneously.</p> |
