<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable coping with thinning of wires and superbly retaining power propagation characteristics by restraining generation of noise from the cable. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cable 100a is provided with a center conductor 1, an insulator 2 covering the center conductor 1, and a shield body 10 covering the insulator 2. The shield body 10 consists of a first shield tape 5 having a first metal layer 51 on a first base body 52 and wound around the insulator, and a second shield tape 8 having a second metal layer 81 on a second base body 82 and wound around the first shield tape 5, and the surface of the first metal layer 51 and the surface of the second metal layer 81 are in contact with each other in opposition.
