The method involves manufacturing a blank (1) and a shaft of the dental instrument from a section of the blank. The two axially extending grooves are manufactured in another section of the blank, particularly by cutting, shaping and sharpening. The free end of the latter section and the shaft are mounted in a rotating unit. The both ends are rotated around the longitudinal axis of the processed blank at a specified angle.
