FIELD: petroleum processing. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to process of treating hydrocarbon stock, in particular to reducing nitrogen level in liquid hydrocarbon stock. Process is characterized by that (a) liquid hydrocarbon stock containing alkylation agent and organonitrogen compounds is brought into contact with acid catalyst at elevated temperature in a first reaction zone to form liquid hydrocarbon stock with reduced content of alkylation agent and organonitrogen compounds having elevated boiling temperatures; and (b) liquid hydrocarbon stock with reduced content of alkylation agent and containing organonitrogen compounds with elevated boiling temperatures is fractioned to remove said organonitrogen compounds. ^ EFFECT: enabled production of liquid hydrocarbon stock with reduced content of alkylation agent and reduced nitrogen level. ^ 14 cl, 3 dwg
