FIELD: explosives. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention proposes preparation of sensitized emulsion blasting material without formation of toxic nitrogen oxides and involving use of urea as gassing accelerator in blasting material sensitization operation. Method, in particular, comprises preparation of water-in-oil emulsion through emulsifying combustible phase and aqueous oxidant solution (pH 0-3) containing ammonium nitrate, inorganic nitrate, and one or more organic acids having at least three carbon atoms, while gas-saturation of resulting emulsion is accomplished by mixing it with inorganic nitrite-containing gassing solution in presence of urea. Emulsion blasting material is supplied to blast-hole or to basic block with the aid of charging pipe or hose, which allows gas-saturation at the end of said pipe or hose.
