<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for cross beams, capable of adjusting the mounting height of the cross beams, in mounting three to four cross beams onto one column in a fence or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a mounting fixture 3, a U-shaped receiving part 32 to support the cross beam 2 in the axial direction of the column 1 is provided on one end side of the mounting fixture 3, and a fixing plate part 31 to be fixed on the sidewall of the column 1 is provided to the other end side of the mounting fixture 3. Two mounting fixtures 3 are arranged facing each other with the fixing plate parts 31 placed inside, and the rear surface of one fixing plate part 31 is superposed on the front surface of the other fixing plate part 31 to make one pair of fixing plate parts. Respective mounting fixtures 3 are mounted onto the column 1 with fixing bolts B1 penetrating from the superposed part of the fixing plate part 31 through the column 1 to the fixing plate part 31 of the remaining mounting fixture 3, constituting the mounting structure for the cross beams.
