摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize or desynchronize the speed and position (phase) of a part of full shaftless type printers or a part of drive control devices with those of other set or group while synchronous operation is maintained. <P>SOLUTION: Shaftless type printers are divided into a plurality of groups, and virtual master signal generating parts 11a-11c are provided to respective groups. The plurality of virtual master signal generating parts are connected through a high speed communication means 12. A speed command and a position (phase) command of an arbitrary virtual master signal generating part are transmitted to the other virtual master signal generating part. During printing, the speed of one group is synchronized with the speed of the other group. After the speeds become equal, position (phase) is aligned, thereby attaining fully synchronous operation.
