<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device receiving a beneficial point obtained by using a coulomb sensor without being restricted by a limited life inherent to an electrochemical sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A method for measuring transmittance through a film has steps of: (i) separating a chamber into a first cell and a second cell in a known film region; (ii) flashing the first cell by an inert gas in order remove every specimen from the first cell; (iii) guiding a gas containing a specimen of a known concentration to the second cell; (iv) hermetically closing the first cell with respect to the flow of the gas passing through the first cell; and (v) detecting every specimen in the first cell using a sensor for consuming the specimen at a speed higher than the speed of the specimen passing through the film until the steady state speed of the consumption of the specimen is measured by the sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
