ANGLE DETECTING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

An angle detecting device includes a stator (200) provided with a plurality of salient-pole sections, which are formed as a flat board composed of a magnetic material and raised by bending process, and a wire winding member for excitation and a wire winding member for detection, with each salient-pole section as a wire winding magnetic core.  The angle detecting device also includes a rotor (300), which is composed of a magnetic material, and is rotatably arranged on the stator so that gap permeance between the salient-pole sections and the rotor changes by rotation in the rotating direction of the rotating axis. The angle detecting device has a largely reduced number of part items, reduced cost and improved reliability, without deteriorating detection accuracy.
